The Demented Dimension
Demi only wanted freedom. Boarded up inside an old house with only her schizophrenic mother for company, she craves to see outside of her prison, the world she believes is out there, waiting for her to be set free.
She never imagined freedom would be like this.
When Demi's house is ransacked by battle-ready warriors only a few years older than herself, they tell her something that sets her entire worldview spinning.
Demi is a Halfling, one of the half-faeries that guard the worlds, keeping faeries from humans, and the humans from everything else. The job is dirty, gritty, but exciting, the life Demi imagined for herself - minus the purple guts all over he new shoes.
She is plunged into hardcore training, doing nightly raids on vampire nests and bloodthirsty succubus hideaways. The new world fits her like a glove -- a perfect fit.
But what happens when her new world changes once again?
